Now that's a sexy older broad !!! Killer find man . The FWBs will ruin it for other Springers . The thing I love most about them is how effortlessly they can shoot on a still day outdoors . Enjoy it man !!!!!

Great rifles, warning they can be addictive...
No way Mike I got more work to do than I have time for, if I had all the guns you have I'd half to hire someone to shoot and clean them. My small collection is all I can handle and the ones that dont get shot will be sold at some point. If I don't have time to shoot all my guns I have too many and pass them on to someone that will shoot them.

Actually, I believe most of the 300s' are stocked with walnut, though many are very light in color (often stained darker) and unremarkable wood. But some aren't!

Mine makes a pretty good twang too but I don't care as it superbly accurate. I've grown to love the boing!

Nice looking rifle. I'm also jealous of your weather in spite of the rain. My high temp yesterday was -3F. Needless to say no outdoor shooting for me.

Mine came with a Bushnell Trophy 4-12x40 scope set up like you see above. I paid $400 total for it.
You got a good deal ao a great shooter. I paid $500.00 cash and carry not bad considering I got to shoot it before I bought it.

I actually gave $400 for 300 S and $100 for a Beeman P1 around 90%. I sold it. Guy told me he only shot about maybe a tin of pellets through 300 S.
