Here is another. I’m excited about this gun and old guys need something to be excited about. I’m not unrealistic either the gun will not be perfect. The workmanship appears remarkable with some light signs of use Just a good honest but different gun

Got the gun today. It's a work of art. Functionally perfect. I was expected

to have some work or repair. The guns never been apart I understand so I'll probably not touch it unless one of you experts advises me to service the gun. Shoots thru the same hole at 10m. Scope is the only thing I had on hand. It may or not be the one I end up keeping on the gun, I'd like to have a period scope ideally. Maybe a leupold 12 or 24 power. Pictures really don't do the gun justice. I wish I had the stock making skills shown here. Shootinblind make sure John knows Im happy have him contact me. I paid $900 for the gun delivered and It was shipped with the greatest of care. Very unusual gun and certainly one of one. I hope it's handed down many generations. I'll just be a part of it's history.

I cleaned the bore. Felt smooth as glass here is about 20 shots off a bag at 14 yards.

Looking for an original rear sight and might have a lead on one. Just to keep with the gun.

If I can find some one I can trust it too I might have some material taken out of the stock then gun is heavy

A fellow forum member just offered me a rear sight FOR FREE. I’m going to not let that stand but that’s pretty darned nice is it not I’ll pay that forward some how
