Came across this rifle on an obscure auction site this summer. Took a while to get it shooting and looking good. I have several 124 Walnuts, but this is the only 127 I've ever seen that has a walnut stock with the correct serial number.

Thought you guys might like to see it.

These Factory Walnut stocks were available for one year through Beeman for the FWB 124/127 D models. They were straight from FWB that way.

However, there were also several Walnuts available through the Beeman Custom Shop. For example...the Queen Bee and King Bee models. Moreover, they produced Lewis and Clark commemorative as well.

Good question! 619fps with 13.4s. Thats putting it out there for a rifle that cocks at 18lbs! They are rated at 570fps.

The firing cycle is a solid thud. Trigger is predictable and crisp. Fun to shoot using the old Beeman/Williams peep site. Has the circular front site like the ones on Match Rifles. These old rifles ooze quality and refinement. The plastic rear site had to be removed and replaced. It just doesn't suit the rest of the rifle.

Good numbers ! Does sound about what they were rated at. Believe they were rated at 670 fps with a Beeman Laser and Silver Bear pellet. I love my Santa Rosa 124 ! When you refer to "Scott" I'm assuming your talking about member Motorhead ? He's about 100-150 miles from me. Mine shoots so nice now that the saying " If it ain't broke..don't fix it " really echoes in my head. Like to see how yours shoots at 25 yards.

My indoor range is 20 yards and it's pretty much one hole territory if I do my part. All my FWB Sport rifles are lasers. It's the barrel.

Correction on something I said. Mine is a San Rafael 124D. Not a Santa Rosa.

I think I need to improve the trigger on mine to make it a better shooter. Nowhere near the trigger of my T06 RWS 34.

Might be a good idea to clean and lube it first. Then....You have to find the sweet spot. 3 steps.

1) Turn the trigger screw in all the way.You will have a heavy 2 stage.

2) Back it out 1/2 turn at a time until the second stage goes away.

3) Now turn back in 1/4 turn or less at a time until it comes back(the second stage). From there you only need to fine tune very, very little. Don't mess with (change) the springs. That's about as good as 124's get. Decent trigger.

Thanks Karl ! Will give that a try !
