Fun night at the farm.

Thanks for the post. Looks like a lot of fun. Where did you pick up the Pard?

I got it off a seller on ebay called westhunteroptics.

Wow - that's quite the infestation!

Was that a range-finder causing the lines at 2:32?

Yeah this model comes with a built in rangefinder just press a button. It used to be worse here believe it or not. They're using a rotating poison system thats "hurting the numbers" haha

Great job!!

Thank you Blejda!

What is a Pard?
Great shooting.

It's a digital scope for day or night and thanks! I have a thread on it says some about it. https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/new-digital-day-night-scope-on-the-way/

was like watching a video game lol

Its really my favorite thing to do, so much fun. People I tell about it always ask if I get payed, no and honestly I'd pay to blast these little creeps. Carlo and Mark are really fun to shoot with its their permission, i'm lucky to be able to get in on it.

Holy smokes, Glem that is a ratters paradise... good shooting and footage.

It's a real jackpot of vermin.

Nice shooting Nate, that is some super clear footage as well and that reticle is the cats meow. Looks like the optics is doing most of the work, lol.

jk

Yeah it is haha, my gear has come a long way from the benji springer and ns50 nitesite happy to get a rat in the backyard at the bird feeder. The nitesite is/was great too just not as modern and no easy way to record.

Nice video and nice shooters paradise there Glem

Wonderful shooting and great video!

What pat of the country are ya in?

mike

Thanks gents

On the West coast of Canada not far from the border.

You’ve got some nice gear and shoot a good video. I think if you took just a fraction of a second longer to line up a better chest or head shot you would do better. A lot of those shots were in their butt which is just going to make them suffer.

Yeah always room for improvement, im shooting standing with the gun balanced on a tripod not always easy to make a perfect shot. I'm also ok with giving it a slowing shot and a follow-up. These fellas are more than happy to eat their own and cause lots of damage so i dont have an abundance of pity for them. But good point not looking to make them suffer needlessly either.

The moving shot on the one running was hilarious!

sometimes it’s like the pellet is bouncing off them, what are you using? Is it a .177?
that’s a hell of a spot you have there

Haha yeah its really fun, I always have a blast.

I'm standing and shooting off a rest so some shots im wavering and (trying to) time the shot. Sometimes squatting a bit on uneven terrain so some shots are just to hit the little creeps and some shots I just poop the bed. I don't think any bounce off that I could see, this is .22 hades shooting 700-750 this night. I usually just tune it by sound out there as we can't have moderators up here and don't want to be scaring the cattle or farm workers although they love us and sometimes come and check out the gear and say hello. The first running shot I think is low looks like it just blasted under him and the wood chip shrapnel got him really bookin'.

Yeah super lucky, and grateful to Carlo and Mark for inviting me along. I'd love to hit a garbage dump sometime that would be amazing, this guy robin foxer in the UK has a couple vids on YT of doing it at a transfer station and he just slays them at 12fpe.
