Full of it!

I bought a 66 cu ft scba bottle from a guy a long time ago. I received it with the guage reading 4500psi. I called the guy I bought it from and he said he always sends them full. I can only imagine what would happen if the neck got broken in transit.

a bomb squad will be called in!!! That sounds super scary, one would think sending that kind of stuff empty makes good sense. Granted a small bottle should not have this kind of issues but why would anyone put others in that kind of risk?

I’m under the impression that AOA ships rifles like that. I received pcp rifles from them that were pressurized. In one instance I remember it being close to full (200+ bar) even though the card that arrived with the gun’s test group indicated that the tank had been emptied prior to shipping. When I called them about it and casually asked I was “assured” that this is a normal practice. I was honestly afraid for my delivery driver. My deliveries from them are shipped via ground meaning they are transported on trucks.
