Full circle...

My journey started one Christmas as a kid. My Daisy Red Rider was the best gift I ever got. Thousands of BBs thru her. I never used the sites but I could hit anything within range. Including several things that I shouldn’t have...

After a lot of powder burns as an adult, I rediscovered airguns with a Diana 34P, Marauder, 1720T and then my dream gun a RAW HM1000X LRT .25. But I miss just picking up just a gun and a pack of B.B.s and heading out the door.

My next gun will probably be a LGV ProSport .177 in sub 12 ft lb. I want to see if I can recapture some of my best memories with a lot more accuracy....

Thanks to the springer guru Joe Wayne and all the other experts on AGN....wish me luck in my quest.

It has been raining and overcast all day in Tennessee. I could blame it on the weather, but I’ve had this itch for awhile. I really need the option of leaving an 88 cu ft tank home.

I’d never give up my PCPs. I love the dead nuts accuaracy of PCPs, but not the baggage. The stealth and increased options for shooting drew me to adult airguns in the first place and I’m probably an airgun lifer.

I haven’t shot my Diana in several years. It’s a nice entry level springer, but I may have been spoiled be by PCPs accuracy. I’ll see if the LGV can scratch my itch...

John,
It is strange that no US dealers sale the LGV Master Pro. Krale has exactly what I’m interested in for a little less than $550 including shipping. I tried to order it last night but my debit credit company blocked the outside of the US transaction. I’ll have to ok the transaction with my local branch before reordering.

Jo Wayne,
I looked at the rifle for sale on Junkyard and it’s a beauty. I’m not sure if I can justify the cost difference.

The HW50S is the only one I've stretched out yet due to windy weather lately but for only shooting about 100 pellets down the barrel it's about as good as I can shoot a springer with the 8.4s and 7.9s. With more practice I expect to get even tighter groups! The R7 from what I've seen should be able to do the same.

The self satisfaction of researching how to correctly put a tune kit in a springer. How to build and figure out a better, safer and cheaper DIY spring compressor. This is the fun stuff for a hobby. Thank you for all the on-line post and forum post. This expertise is invaluable....(if my DIY spring compressor works well, I’ll post pictures and info) In the planning stage, I think my spring compressor is the best one I have seen :)

After my RWS Diana 34p tune is done and if I’m not pleased with the results, I will have enjoyed the journey. Who knows, it may be perfect....

I’ll post my results.
