FT Loaner Gun

Not sure if we still have it, but at one point we had a Marauder as well.

Our club has 3 loaner PCP's; all 3 Marauders with Hawke scopes. They get used once in a while, but its always a challenge to ensure they are zeroed and the dope chart is still accurate after people use them.

One of the local clubs here in NC has a Marauder with scope as a 'club gun'. It's a good idea to have one on hand for a new shooter who is just getting introduced to FT. A dope chart should be kept with it as well as pellets that are proven to shoot well with it. Checking the dope card every so often is a good idea, but for a new shooter it may not be super critical if it's a hair off as they are trying this out for the first time IMO.

The trick is the range markings on the scope wheel. Everyone's eyes are a little different and will range differently. Again, maybe not a huge deal, but something to be aware of. 

Our club doesn't have a loaner gun, but I/we have new people shoot with us using our own gear. It's a good system except when the newb's go under or over a revolution with the elevation turret. Which was hilarious to those of us watching and hearing the drama unfold the next lane over 

We keep an older BAM 50 that was previously modified and regulated set up as a >20 fpe HUNTER class rig. It was donated to club for this purpose.

We have a Marauder and a Discovery as loaners.

Back in the day, the club I belonged to would pair the new person up with an experienced shooter to share the experienced shooters equipment. That way we could keep close eye on our equipment and educate the new shooter. I often volunteered to shoot with new folks to make new friends..
