Hi! Taking my Thomas .22 out for its first range day next week....plan to shoot it along with a CZ457 at next month's varmint match at our club. Last month I shot off a set of random Caldwell bags and sand bags and it was a pain. Hard to get placement consistent and I'd like to do better at the matches.
SO I'm looking at front rests. Ideally it could handle multiple bulls at 25m up to 100m - the varmint match at my club shoots random 5 bull targets (animals, regular bullseye etc) and allows a sighter paper too.
The Nota looks amazing but I'm not sure I'm ready to spend that. So I'd like your thoughts on ones like Shadetree, Sinclair, used Seb, used Fulghum, used other-high-end-rest here.
Also thoughts on joystick vs knobs appreciated. Thanks!
