While shooting my Alecto today, I noticed that I was having a really hard time seeing the sights clearly with the tall/wide front blade. 62 year old eyes not working like they used to. I opened the rear sight notch width a bit and it helped a lot with the wide front blade and didn't hurt accuracy with the short/narrow one.

I’m having the same issue with my old HW70. I haven’t done anything with it just yet, but I’m going to have to do something. The front and rear sights are like one bar, especially on dark backgrounds. I painted my plinking target supports white to help. 65 year old eyes.
