From my easy chair.

Did you ever want to do some shooting but some factor like rain wind too hot too cold kept you from it? Well in my case my neighbors on each side of me are "yard work" fanatics, and even though we have big yards I don't shoot when anyone is out and about, lately these people have been "living" outside and I can't blame them considering the nice weather. I usually shoot from my deck to my fire pit, about 25yards, I've been using that range for casual target shooting since 2010. Now that I'm retired, and

both my neighbors are too, I want to shoot more, I moved "indoors". From my easy chair to the back wall of my garage is 20yards or just about, I have to prop the door open pull my car out and isolate the pets, and after my wife goes to work, (bless her) the house is mine! The garage wall is brick and I use a good back stop, a couple inches of cardboard wrapped with a lot of duct tape with two 2x12's behind, works great. Didn't take me long to realize 20yard plinking indoors with my 57fpe Impact was a little over kill, in fact any of my guns on full power just wasn't necessary for enjoyable shooting in this new venue. Enter my .22 Streamline on low power. I did a "shot count and accuracy test" today at my new range with the Streamline and WOW was it fun and enjoyable, from my easychair!!! On low power using JSB 14.35's 560fps just under 10fpe, I got 165shots from 230 to 110b, I shot all the groups (11 shots) from sitting with elbow on knee, my preferred position. I honestly don't know why I didn't think of this years ago.
