.25 MK2 full kit installed reg set 125, 34gr heavy's 910fps after backing off H/S tension, V/S 2 1/2 lines 70 shots regulated from 250bar fill 👍

I installed the kit yesterday. It came only in a bubble wrap paper envelope from EuropeAirguns. No box or anything for protection! Maybe you can guess, the valve pin was bent on it's way to Finland 👿. I bent it back and installed it anyway. Everything else is fine, but the gun is consuming more air than before the Power Plenum 😢. I don't understand how they can pack it that way and think that it will survive intact in the mail.

Today I ordered new valve pin from Finnish distributor, because EuropeAirguns is not responding to my email. I should have ordered the kit from Finland, but I was so excited when the kit was released, that I ordered it from the first shop where it was available. Lesson learned.

Attention! When you install the kit, be very careful that you don't bend the valve pin. When I was straightening it, I was really surprised how easily I can bend it just between my fingers!

did it get you more power before any mods?

Totally happy with it.

With old 57mm spring, reg. at 150 bar, home made valve spring 30mm / 1mm wire thickness, play removed from slider, 700mm .22slug liner A, plus some refined porting of the TP and probe, I am getting:

JSB Monster redesigned 25gn 315m/s

JSB Beast 34gn 280m/s

H&N slug .217 25gn 323m/s

H&N slug .217 27gn 313m/s.

For those who shoot jsb 18gr, it is not at all necessary to buy a power plenum.

Rather it becomes counterproductive for 18 grain .22 pellets as far as accuracy is concerned

I think Umair is missing the fact you can run at a way lower reg pressure. I bet 100bar reg would send the 18s 900-1000. With a different big plenum i can get the 34gr heavies in .25 at 1000 if wanted at 100 on the reg.

I can’t get mine over 125bar after that the hammer spring is not powerful enough.

Maybe a stupid question, but is your hammer weight placed IN the hammer?

I've heard a story that someone installed it the other way around, and all it did was acting as a spring guide, not as a hammer weight.

I can go up to around 150-155bar with my setup before the speed starts to drop.

Also, the valve spring is way too long (or too stiff if you like)

Have you tried it without valve spring at all? The airflow will close the valve, even with no spring installed.

I am asking this becouse i can see that both FX and airhunters shots the 34gr slugs at 1000fps. But i cant get mine to do that even with 25gr slugs, yes i can cut this spring and put in that spring and open up the transfer port ect ect. But a standard impact out of the box cant do this?

my hammer spring is to light at 125bar at the reg the speeds are going down.

have any of you hird something from FX or ernest, becouse it is really hard to get a answer from anyone.

and i know fx is busy getting the power plenum out, but i just want to know if there is something comming out on this or if it`s just me that are a complete idiot

Have you bought it as standard, or did you install the PP yourself?

Have you removed the play from the little power wheel slider on the left side with a 1.5mm Allen key? Otherwise, set to "max" and turn the set screw in the slider until about all play is removed.

And remove the valve spring completely by removing the micrometer screw, and take the spring out. By doing this, you can exclude the valve spring from being the culprit.

ive cut the spring down by 4 rings that help a little but there is a looong way to shot 34gr at 1000fps



Airhunters are talking about a secret 34gr slug ( fx hybrid maybe

Don't focus too much on the airhunters, they are shooting different equipment at 165-170 bar to get that speed ;)

We can do that too with some mods, no problem ;) 

I am currently hovering around 85-90 joules at 150 bar in .22, but can go higher if I want. 

But, when your valve is not closing without spring, something seems to be wrong... 

I have shot mine without spring many times, and it closes just fine. Is your plenum correctly aligned?

I just got a call from Europeairguns. They apologized what happened to my package in the mail (read from above) and promised to send a new valve pin free of charge. They also promised to pay attention about packaging in the future. The customer service was very friendly. I will order again something when needed. The shipping service what they use is very fast to Finland. Thumbs-up! 👍😃
