For dialer’s only - Sightron Big Sky II

On top of my FX rifle is a Sightron Big Sky II scope. The scope is a 4-16x42, 13 inches long, weighs 16.6 ounces, and adjustable objective down to 10 yards.

Nice light little scope.

The scope has a duplex reticle and most of the time when hunting I just estimate the hold over by the help of the duplex. When time is on my side and a set range is know I also like to dial the elevation. The Sightron repeats spot on every time. But if you go past 10 minutes elevation it might be possible to lose track what turn you are on. So needed to make a little ring today.

The ring is .712 id by .820 od and is .100 thick. Cut a U shaped notch to see the center line better. Ring is a push fit that holds nicely. This little device will only allow me to dial a little more than a half turn down past zero. So now it will be very easy to know my zero setting for my sight in range and not get confused.
