Thats a killer looking gun DOC. Looks like it has a RAW V block on it and CF bottle.

Noticed the single load side looks to be freshly scalloped, thought those already were machined from the UK factory?

Interesting to hear there is actually sound of the gun's discharge considering it has an AZ shroud on it.

I thought his shrouds made the PCPs silent shooters.

Good shooting!

CA, Beachgunner, & Regarval,

Yea, I provided AZ w/ all the RAW parts (RAW c/f bottle, v-block, trigger, & walnut thumbhole stock) to modify this Rapid MK2. I requested AZ to scallop the right side loading port for a more finger friendly pellet loading area. This certain Rapid didn't come from factory w/ that option.

The shot report was louder due to me being deep in my front porch area (its like a cave). Plus the sound is bouncing off the walls in the cave making her sound much louder. The rifle is actually very quiet, as quiet as my .22 Mutant Shorty shooting @ 23 fpe. Allen's shrouds are very effective & quiet indeed. For example, my .25 RAW tuned to shoot jsb 34g pellets @ 900 fps @ 60 fpe which has Allen's long shroud is as quiet as this .177 Rapid & .22 Mutant Shorty. If you can believe it.

I requested Allen to tune ("dial of death") & make his shrouds for both the .20 cal & .22 cal lw barrels (if I remember correctly, all 3 barrels are 19" long) I privided him. All 3 barrels have sniper killer accuracy.

This rifle is very light to carry around being only 40" oal.

Many Thanks Sirs...

Heretic. So you just can not accept the truth that you NEED the newest model of the lightest rifle with the largest clip and the most power in the hugest caliber and at least another $1,000+ for a scope if you want to shoot squirrels, huh.

Love Allen's work, and to be perfectly honest I have no sympathy for your having to use a true classic heirloom fer squirrel hunting.

Also thanks for showing the "dial of death" I've offered the opinion they work well in a hunting situation before but I was wrong. Love the dial!

Hahah...my ultimate plan for this .177, .20, & .22 cal Rapid MK2 was to make her user friendly all around & to make her close to affordable (which didn't happen @ all)...haha...

Allen's completed a lot of work on rifles for me & so far I'm satisfied w/ his work (not his wait time)...

I agree, dialing your elevation turret is very fun. That's why I completed the "dial of death" on my .22 Shorty shown on my Dr. Stanley post.

Thanks for your response Sir...
