Follow up Immersive prismatic.

Hi @TacticalAnt, we are trying to get ourselves listed and share links out here. An email has been sent to the admins for getting the brand listed.

It's a shame that you bought an Athlon optic. Hopefully you can buy one of our products in the near future. Get on to our mailing list.

Cheers!

Tim

Hi Tim, whats the story on the 14x50? Will it be offered on your Amazon store?

Just want to chime in here too. I have shot a few different IO scopes and need to say that you don't appreciate what they offer for a field of view until you try to use a "normal" scope again. You have no idea how restricted the view is in a normal scope until you spend time switching between them!

And the mildot extended is fantastic IMHO.

Just got my first fixed power and the clarity is top notch. I have the 6 power Dedal Stalker because a lot of my shots are within 40 yards and this has parallax under 10 meters. My opinion on fixed power just went way up. I'm with you. I don't have that same scope but if it's anything like mine I can understand 👍

So I kept reading the all the hype and so yes, I got one too.

Not used to the way it sits and looks on the airgun but so far I love what I see when I look through the eye piece! Sweet!

I really like the side button to illuminate. Not so hot on the caps for the turrets but I will live with that.

Only regret so far is that I should have got the mil dot extended Christmas tree

How do those of you who purchased an immersive scope like it at this point? I'm particularly invested in the 10x40. Also, any feedback on how this works for shooters with astigmatism?

I have astigmatism in my dominate eye as well as a vision issue called paroxysmal oscillopsia. Some scopes give me a lot more trouble than others. For example I have a 1x prism scope currently that I simply cannot adjust to my eye. And that is an optic marketed to those with astigmatism.

I had no trouble with the 5x30 I got to borrow for a couple of weeks. I was able to adjust the diopter to me eye without too much trouble. My vision issues have become worse since then so I can't say for sure if that would still be the case.

Not sure about the 10x40.

Bought 10x40. On my maverick 25 compact. 1lb. Perfect balance on gun. What a difference a pound makes on a gun. Glass is BRIGHT & CLEAR. Unbelievable fov. Snuggle your eyeball next to the crystal clear lens and see the world. Used it out to 100 but that's not what it's for. Squirreling, pine coning, and persimmoning ( that's all a persimmon is good for) out to 50, dead on. . Allows you quick find on target AND THE SURROUNDING area!, you need to learn your hold over due to capped.reticles. I zeroed @ 25, but it goes down to 6. Would I buy again. You bet! Forgot, illumination is great from dim to bright.
Wes at Airgunarcheryfun sells them.

I don't own one but I did borrow a friend's 10x40 for 3 weeks and used it for several squirrel hunts. The view is great; bright, clear, wide, all the good things you've read about.

I encountered a problem due to my hunting situation; cold weather and wearing a balaclava for concealment. Every time I would bring the scope up to my eye, humidity from my breath would cause it to fog up. There's probably a solution but I didn't have the time to experiment.

I'm thinking seriously about picking one of these up for my L2. Probably the 10x40 but a bit concerned about the eye relief when wearing glasses? The eye cup is clearly shaped to fit an eye socket rather than against glasses. I guess I could remove it or just deal with it pushing against my glasses? Do they make a cup for fitting against glasses? I guess I could just wear contacts?

Also, mounting it far back enough on the L2 does the provided mount work or do I need to buy another mount? Do they clear the mag and when using EG speed loader? Recommendations?

I would go without the eye cup since the higher the magnification the shorter the eye relief. I have the 5x24 and gives me a decent amount of eye relief. It comes with 3 lengths of mounts so you should be able to get it mounted far enough back.
thanks, any idea if the mounts clears the L2 magazine enough to fit a speed loader?

Not sure about speed loader.

I'm actually not sure about one of the higher power ones and getting it far enough back. I've got the 5x30 on mine, pics below.

Only you will know if you really need the additional magnification, but at least for me the 5x30 is pretty much perfect on the L2.

Stoutblock, as Joedirt199 said the higher the magnification the shorter the eye relief. It is a choice, if you must wear glasses then the 5× is the way to go. I chose to buy the 10x40 and do without my glasses. I found that by adjusting the diaopter for a sharp image and then snuggling in tight to the eye cup, I got to the correct distance for approriate eye relief. so I get both clarity and magnification.

I currently have 5x30, Mil-Dot, Rapid that makes it's way around different guns. It's currently on one of my Caimans, and will probably stay there.

I'm seriously thinking on getting a 10x40 for another gun. Actually...maybe tomorrow..!

I unfortunately use glasses...I don't use the rubber cup. Will give it a try on the 10x40 though.

Mike

P.s. - I did it. Ordered a 10 x 40 Immersive scope.
