Follow up Immersive optics

I cannot get scopes from USA to Canada, a very first neighbour up North (next is Santa) ... because of ITAR. Not even the Chinese imports or re-branded, and not those "cheap" scopes that YO was advertising all the time.

I started buying things from EU instead, the right stuff, all comes in airmail.

I am getting one prismatic scope from Immersive Optics, in the mail from Ireland, I asked Immersive to find me a source since they don't sell directly (international).

I received my IO scope today (we forgot to check the post box Friday so I check it only today Monday afternoon), from Ireland to my door in Canada 10 calendar days in total including two weekends, not bad at all.

And just realized a clever trick for airmail - sender removed the battery. I can get those from amazon, I may even have some in my drawers didn't checked that yet.

A scope is impressive weight (no plastics there) and already dark 10.10 pm but I can still nice sharp contours in my backyard. And I like the Mrad reticle and a side focus is nice and smooth. IO even included a tape for focus/distance. 

I was very interested in getting one but after all the hassle, cost and reconsideration due to the zero eye relieve……I’m over it! LOL

I need one for a short carbine and like the Leshiy2 is short pull as well. I don't think a short eye relief any bad if you have a cheek weld at proper height....Will see next time at the range playing action games

interestingly on my poorman’s Leshiy or PP700 which has a short length of pull I still like normal eye relief. I briefly had the MTC viper connect scope and hated the short eye relieve on my PP700 and dream-tac compact with stock all the way forward. I had to strain my neck forward and even with that it’s really hard to get behind. With short eye relieve target acquisition is very slow!

Had my Alpha6 1-6 LPVO with very generous eye relief(3.5-4) and wow what a difference!!! Target acquisition is is night and day faster and just so much easier and more comfortable to get behind the scope. 



When you decide to buy it make sure you can return it in case you don’t like it.

Have you tried to move MTC vipor connect back rather than straining your neck forward

Good news if want to buy an Immersive Optics prismatic scope:



Wes had his ear to the ground when we were discussing these cool scopes — half the size and weight of the traditional scopes....

And after the sellers on the other side of the pond were so complicated to deal with for us — Wes came through and is offering them now to us
