I can hike around the ranch for hours while carrying the stand and chair over my shoulder. This is the best setup I've found so far.

I had that stool did not work out for me cause hunting ground squirrels they would pop up behind me at times, or to the right or to the left, so I got the camo bucket that swivels with the pockets to carry my bino's range finder and pellets.

I am using this table my father in law made for me .
Its a benchrest table without any bolt or srew. The 5 pieces al slide together and it makes a very stable benchrest platform.

I really like that shooting bench. I think I could make one of those at work on our waterjet cutter in about 10 minutes.

That would be a lot more easy if u can use such a machine instead of sawing and cutting

I absolutely love my Idleback chair for long-range hunting. It's a bit spendy, but it's all aluminum so it's light and shoulders easily for carry comfort in the field. Also is fully adjustable, swivels 360 degrees and gives a rock-steady rest for precision long-range engagements.

I have found this hunting chair to be VERY comfy and VERY stable (IMHO) to hit target out at long distances. I have not had to put a drop of lube to the chair swivel even after a year of service. Just remember to hold on to your rifle when getting off the chair. I installed an iPhone holder (mod) on the rest so I had access to the ballistic app viewable right in front of me. I'd would take a picture but the chair is at my dad's place. However, looks like Astroman's chair has better ergo.

OP I use the exact same setup. When I use a collapsible blind I take a folding chair or the hunters bucket.
