First trip using my Daystate Redwolf .25

My friend Larry came down from Virginia to shoot some with me. I filled the tanks with air and loaded the guns in the truck and headed out. It was the first time shooting my new Daystate Redwolf and it did NOT disappoint. It is also the quietest gun in my collection. My longest shot on a pigeon was 93 yards with a mildot of wind. It became so windy we were shooting 3 mildots of wind and decided to stop about noon. We weren't afraid to shoot 3 mildots it's just that we didn't enjoy all the sand in our eyes and vehicle. Click on the link below and enjoy!

PS :Larry used one of my new leather pellet pouches and really enjoyed it.

Here you go Robert. If you want some data

JimNM, You would know about the shade having spent time there. What is really bad in the summer time is the smell and the flies but it's a tough job and someone has to do it. When I get home I open all the doors to my truck and let it air out. There is a fellow shooter from Farmington NM now temporarily living in Kennedy. He's a shooter too and we've shot some together. If you get up to the Austin area send me a pm prior and we will shoot some. Looking forward to meeting you.

Michael, same goes for you. I know you are busy but we will shoot sometime. Then I can really learn something about how best to use AN. You do give lessons on your visits don't you?

Robert, here is an English Sparrow or House Sparrow as you call it. I know how much you like to target those. These little critters don't stay in one spot very long and if they see you looking at them then you will have even less time. This one was on top of the hay barn and thought he was safe at 50 yards. He's not much larger than the V crimp in the roof line. However, I put the trusty Red Wolf that I purchased from AOA, right on him and squeezed off a shot. The .25 cal just made him explode. Now you making the movies on my favorite target. Last weak house sparrow went in on my bluebirds and head pecked all five chicks. Three dead from him. I am waiting to see if the other two live. What a bird to dislike! Happened while I was working, neighbor came out on his porch and cleaned the bully off his newly taken bluebird box with a Benjamin maxamis at 40y. Good neighbors are hard to come by. 84 year old farmer still has good shooting eye.

Well I started posting another video and had written a pretty long story and then I went to get my video. When I came back to AN, my story was gone. I was a bit bothered. So I write another story and I’m going to be smart and copy it. Then I go get my video and what do you have to do when you are there??? Copy the URL. When I copied my URL I immediately realized that I just saved the URL over the body of my story. Yes it happened again. When I came back to AN the story was gone! So now I am in WORD and I can copy and paste as many times as I want. I’ll post this and come back with another video & story.

Here’s another video for you. I am trying to learn how to edit and make better videos. I’m using Movie Maker and I was helped by Larry Ganey and of course Youtube.

I made this video at one of my permissions using the Side Shot which I purchased from the boys in Utah. Actually, while at EBR last October I traded 2 of my custom made leather wallets for the Side Shot. I really like using the Side Shot because it’s so simple and easy. I have found it very easy to mount the phone and I do it the way their video show. Take off the 3 screws and center your phone lens, tighten the 3 clamps and replace the 3 screws. You are done.

In this video I made a title, used transitions, captions and even did some screen shots from the video. One of these days I will make a great video and if not great I’ll ask Bob O to help. Enjoy!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9t6DN0rrQtI&t=2s
