I only mention the Parrus because in .22 cal its definitely up for hunting small game. However, I'm planning on getting a Terrus because I just want it for target shooting and don't need the extra power. The Terrus also has a threaded muzzle.

try CPLs and RWS Supermags, both my 34 and 34p T06 love 'em

I got the Terrus in .22 for the same reason. It wasn't shooting up to its potential, I believed, with the Bug Buster scope that I originally had on it. I went to the 11" UTG, and that made quite a change. Then I installed the Hatsan air stripper on it, got it adjusted, and it's as accurate as anything I have. Good rifle.

I'm new to the forum and just recently started buying springers, which now total 7. But my first was the Diana 430L at $149.00 plus shipping from AOA. I love shooting it, and the only negative I have found is the loading gate favors lefty's. Unlike my HW's I purchased from Krale, which is the second thing people new to springer's needs to know about before plunking down their hard earned money and paying $150.00 more for an HW than necessary. Infact, I saved even more when I purchased 2 at once, and the shipping stayed the same. It went up when I selected a 3rd, but it would have been like paying $24.00 ea, for shipping from the Netherlands to the USA. I also have found different models of the HW Rifles on another website which I have not seen on any of the US websites, and even on the Krale website. I Found the HW 97L, which has a longer barrel intended for Silhouette , and a model 77 Diopter model. Also I contacted the folks at Krale, and they contacted the Manufacture to order them for me and get them shipped to my door. I had to pay for my HW97L up front, and it will be shipped sometime in March. The HW77 Diopter I'm still waiting for the price quote and delivery time.

Good shooting ! Out of curiosity how do you seat your pellets in your D34 ? I tried seating one deeper in the bore (3/16 " apx) and to my surprise I lost well over 120 fps. I shot a 8.3 gr JSB at 809 fps and the firing behavior was harsh. I won't do that again ! I finger seat mine just below the breech face with great velocity results. I weighed five JSB pellets at 8.3 gr and shot them over my chrony.

5. 953 fps

Average of 949 fps. 16.6 FPE. This thing is wicked powerful!
