First time out with the Budget Blaster.

Got these guys with my economy, refurb. project. .177 Gauntlet shooting JSB 13.34 Monsters @ ave 958 fps.

Both hit at approx. 35 yds. and oddly enough they pretty much just dropped with barely a twitch. I'm used to the "Disco Dance of Death" with most head shots on squirrels. Not this time,I must have hit a switch (!?) Anyhoo, here they are. Sure was nice getting out in the woods today...I needed it.

Sorry guys, I'm having trouble with the pics! I matched the transfer port to the breech and barrel, shortened the valve retainer and added 2 .010" shims to the regulator. I also drilled and tapped the receiver end cap,cut about 1.5 coils off the stock hammer spring/shortened the hammer spring guide pin, added a set screw from a scope mount (recoil stop pin) so I could adjust the hammer preload. Had to drill a hole in the rear of the stock to allow access to the adjuster with an allen wrench. This is similar to the tune kit that Hajimoto installed,I just thought I would try to emulate this on my own...and save More $$.

The Monsters are the originals but I also want to try the MK II's and a few others. I may end up tuning it down depending on how things work out at longer range. Actually,so far the JSB 10.34's might be a bit more accurate.

I have also added a 380cc bottle,Hajimoto's air stripper and baffles. It's Delightfully quiet!
