First squirrel will Cold Steel .625 60"

Been getting my practice in with the blow gun. i get about a 3-4" grouping at 15 yards. 30 is still abyssmal, but as my technique becomes consistent it should improve.

Today i made a stun dart shot on a tree'd squirrel - not ready to risk a darted escapee making it over the fence just yet, so i used a stunner inatead.

I shot from 15 yards, inside our second floor nursery and out the window. It hit him with enough force to knock him out of tree. This blow gun makes a hell of a lot of power (for a blow gun).

I'm not a fan of cats, but I don't think I'd ever shoot a neighbor's pet - that's just wrong. Plus, the gun just doesn't have the consistency in accuracy for a quick kill, but the stun dart is still comical to watch.

Over the weekend I completed modifying the blow gun by attaching a fishing rod. Tied 6 pound mono-filament to a razor broad head using a nail knot. It doesn't quite have the range for hunting - which would conveniently solve the darted-animal-running-down-the-street problem, but it's still fairly novel.

Don't shoot it into a tree, you lose the dart and have to tie another damn nail knot.
