"sirk"did you know that human brain prefers analogue gauges to those digital?
it takes lot shorter time to process the information.
was the reason why the car dashboard/tachometers are still Analogue, you can have digital display panel but still shows Analogue gauge, just like watches etc.
Oh I won't be using this for driving but thanks for the tidbit friend.

Here is the AWESOME EDMU installed on my Taipan Veteran shorty. This isnt just a pressure gauge it tracks pressure used per shot, highest pressure used in a shot, Total shots left based on pressure in reservoir and of course existing pressure down to the LB! Ive tracked this EDMU with a liquid filled $500 regulator set up I use for tuning and its dead on!! I think this is probably the finest attachment one can get for the money for tuning and it looks awesome also. I purchased mine at Edgunwest.com here in California I suggest if youe serious about airguns you get one. On another note it threads are BSP strait pitch and not NPT taper so make sure it fits your gun. Or use the appropriate HP adapter.

"jking"Glem, I'm really impressed with that beautiful stock. Was that a higher grade or did you just get lucky? If you refinished it, then way to go! It would definitely be my safe queen...

Thanks Jimmy, yeah it is a grade 2 stock it had been sitting around since 2014 when it was inspected by Minelli. It came like this and I wet sanded it and finished it with tru-oil.
She's a beaut forsure, I wanted a really nice stock as well as one I don't have to worry about, you can probably guess which this one is haha.

"Oldpro"Wow thats some fine timber!!! FX has really pushed the boundaries this year more so than any other company in my opinion and that EDMU just sets it off doesnt it! Also the gauge OD is 30mm or 1.1 inch thats a lot of tech in a small package.
Would you please confirm the diameter major dimension? Ed at EDgun and Brian at EDgun West both told me the EDMU was EXACTLY the same diameter as the WIKA, which is 28mm. Thanks.

"Bobr"You did a super nice job on refinshing the stock looks awesome
any tips on doing it the Edgun gauges are the way to go
thinking about redoing the finish on my r5 super long

Thanks very much, I got most of my tips through Youtube and a member here JoeWayneRhea

I did it all and was more or less happy with it, then I wet sanded basically all of it again and put a really smooth coat on. In Joe's videos he uses steel wool to scuff it I guess but I found it left way too much residue. I spread on with an old tshirt and wet sanded with 1200 before putting the final coat/s on. The really nice thing about this tru oil stuff is if you have one area at the end that you're not happy with you can just sand it off and blend it in with the dry stuff, amazing stuff. I used it on a spot or two of my laminate stock as well with good results, blends in with the factory finish beautifully.
