Finally able to visit the rat farm this past week without the rain and snow. It was a very busy and productive night where 35 rats were tagged and 31 rats being collected for the coyotes. Trail cam was set up but unfortunately, batteries ran out and the unit had a malfunction, but I was still able to capture a few clips of the same two coyotes eating the rats.

I will continue to shoot the rats and feed them until the night when I decide to take another crack at them.

My HW100T .22 with the Pard008 LRF was spitting out the 16 gr pellets like mad. It was accurate and packed a hard blow to these rodents.

Enjoy.

@TiredRooster. Yes it can be once you get used to the eye strain from the IR, lol.

@Ezana4CE. He has no complaints either way. I just do what I can to help out as long as it is needed. And the coyotes are getting well fed for the meantime until I get ready to give it another go again sometimes in the near future. The rats just came and went as fast as I could blink an eye. Most of the time it was just timing. I usually scanned the area and rest periodically then scan again. If they appeared in my view and give me a second or two, I would then get the opportunity to squeeze off a shot. Pressing the recording losses a sec for two, that was why I had some shots off camera. Trying to get faster and accurate with the trigger is pretty hard at times. More practice I guess. Thanks for watching.
