First kill with the 25 Cal Huben

After getting my new 25 Cal Huben sighted in for the first time at 50 yards 

I turned 180 degrees and there was this collared dove at 48 yards well "I could

not resist" I let a 32.80 grain swage slug hit home and it smacked that dove hard

there were feathers flying everywhere and this one fell to the ground the 

32.80 grain large hollow point at 980 fps did a good job .

I have to agree, more brownish than white.

It happens.

Of all the birds I've shot, only one wasn't what I though it was. I mistook it for a starling and dropped it. I didn't realize until I looked at the footage that it wasnt a starling.

I've been SUPER careful since then. Same with English sparrows.....there are a few birds that can be easily mistaken for them.
