First hunt of the year, first time using Hades .25

Hi all,

Here we are, my son and I went out on our first hunt of the year. It was trial and error for many things. The Tactacam 5.0 HD worked like a charm, but I didn't. I would start to record a shot but forgot to turn it off. So the next "Start" for the next shot was truly a stop. So we missed half of our videos.
First time trying the Hades to hunt. Oh boy, they are nasty on impact. The sound, the thwack, the wound cavity!!! Sad that the camera couldn't record the sound. We saw a few pass-through on starlings in the upper neck, head area. But, the exit is twice as big as what the King would do on starlings. We haven't witnessed any pass-through on pigeons.
Sorry for the low-quality video, we are just starting to put things together while having a lot of fun. :)

Tsakula, you know he made contact with a cow at 1:22 when he was shooting at the starling, I shoot at a dairy farm all the time even shooting over them from five feet away they don't jump like that after a shot.

What are you talking about? I never made contact with a cow! The cow was above. The bird had a foot plus deep of feed behind it, a concrete background and i was shooting down. She couldn't even been splattered by some feed, she was to high. The two cows around her moved too on the thwack of the impact, the hades are loud. No cow was shot at!

Two comments:

1.- when shooting look there's nothing behind; and

2.- when shooting keep the vertical of the reticle or you will hit right or left, depending of the inclination when shooting.

If when sighting the scope the vertical is not perfect, you will hit at the distance of sighting, but 60 yards farther away you will hit right or left, depending on the inclination of your reticle and on the opposite side when shooting at short distance.

Nice Shooting Eric! i bought a Phone Skope before i saw this new Tactacam, i really like the way it fits and looks on the gun, very compact and slick.

Thanks Regarval,

I also like the fact that you can control 5 cameras with a single remote. So it allows you to get different angles all synched. I am not there, but it will come where I will have a forward cam and the scope cam.
