First few shots out of my new Lelya

Finally put some rounds thru my new .22 cal. Lelya.

I bought four different types of pellets to find out what the barrel likes best. So far, it doesn't seem to be to picky. I turned down the power a little to try to make it indoor "pet" friendly. My "range" is across the living room, and down the hall to my foam (closed cell) cross bow target. Cats and harsh noises don't get along, but as long as they are awake, it doesn't seem to bother them too much. Not sure yet if I can legally shoot it in my back yard..!

So...things to get used to... The rifle in general, the trigger pull, a (true) holographic sight (Eotech, different than the one in the picture above).

My first magazine full of trying to do well placed shots...distance, about 18 yards, H&N sport (green) pellets (12.3gr.), offhand shooting...1-1/4" spread. Looking to get better. Still learning how to use the Eotech with glasses. The brightness has to be turned WAY down. That said, it seems to work ok with just barely being able to see the red ring and center dot.

The cocking action is a bit stiff, it may or may not "break-in" or smooth out too much. The rest of the shooting action is much better than I figured it would be (first air rifle of any kind). MUCH nicer to shoot than I figured it would be.

For anyone on the proverbial fence about getting this little gun, yea, you won't be dissatisfied

I have been enjoying my Lelya .22. Got it about 2 weeks ago. I have feed it jsb monsters (not the redesigned) and jsb heavies. Im currently shooting the heavies at 920fps average. I did just the opposite as you and uped the power on my lelya. This thing is definitely a tack driver. As far as the cocking action i find it to be rather nice but I think that some time will smooth it out. I felt the first stage of the trigger was a bit on the heavy side. Thats just my take on it. I do plan on feeding it some different pallets. Different brands and wrights.

Good night this image is big. I originally posted from my phone because I have the pic on it. I am very happy with my purchase.

I received yesterday my new edgun leyla. It shoot every shot 2,4 bar. its not power at all. How you increase the power at 12 bar to shot at 920fps like others.I used beller 10,5gr.The gun is in 4,5mm. Can someone help please?

Take the stock off and there is a a power adjuster that sits just under the trigger. Its a silver cylinder about 2 inches long. It uses an allen (hex) wrench to adjust the power. Counterclockwise will increase the power. I would only do a few turns at a time then test it. You should be able to get 920fps in .177 with that weight pellet. Now if you cannot then you will need to adjust the regulator. I think you will be ok with just the power adjuster adjustment though. Remember that faster may not be better and you will loose some shoot count.

You want to know what speed you are going for with a specific pellet. Yes if you increase the power it will be louder. If you are going for max power you need to understand that airguns have there limits and often times going to high causes more issues then whats its worth. Going for max power is a bad place to start with the Lelya. Not to mention other PcPs. You will also lose shot count when going up in power. Tuning can and will take some time. You would be better off tunning for accuracy first then go up slowly and test shoot some. If you cannot reach the power level you are looking for by simply adjusting the power adjuster then you will need to adjust the regulator and if you are not sure how to do it take/send it to a reputable airgun tuner. Also consider that the Lelya may not be capable of the power you want without some serious work by someone who knows what they are doing.

I check today Lelya with pellets.I dont have chrony to check the speed but from 240 to 120 bar i shoot 25 pellets.if i want to shopt 50 pellets i must decrease more the power of the Lelya? I turn many times the power adjustment i think is in more than. Iddle that was before the adjustment.

It sounds like you got it too tight. Get a chrono. You should get 35 shots with a 210 bar fill. I've had my Lelya for over a year now have about 4,000 rounds throw it. Out of all the testing I did, 18grain jsb at 860fps is the best for the gun. That my recommendation.

Hmm...I lied. Well maybe.

I did a little shooting today. I said that the Lelya didn't seem to care what pellet went thru it... Off hand shooting (my same 18 yard "range") with H&N Sport, Sniper Magnum, 17.9 gr., I put a single magazine full of rounds in a 1/2" x 7/8" hole with one off to the side a bit.

So either the barrel likes the Sniper round, or I'm just learning to shoot better. One thing I did notice before the above magazine, is that a VERY light hold on the gun seemed to be another key to my single hole shooting. At first, I was holding it like I would any powder burning rifle. NOT so much. The lighter my hold, the better the accuracy became.

So for other new shooters, a light hold seems to be best..!
