First BR match

Probably open or unlimited? if it was a.22/18.1gr ?depending on fps would determine ftlbs, was it at 25 or 50? Anyway very good for 1st match! I got totally blown out my 1st match...

I shot 18 gr @ 900 fps for about 32 fpe. And this was a 25m, my first BR match. There is a 50m this Saturday and I'm hoping to go to that. It has been raining so much here. It will be so muggy by Saturday, I don't know if I want to sit outside for 3 hours or not. :) I'm an old fart and the heat really drains me.

Just realized I had a few pictures from the match.

Congratulations, Crusher! Let me know how the electronic platform performs. The Red Wolf is basically the Pulsar in a long gun platform. It is a pretty good proxy for how my Pulsar would perform in a match. I've never competed in an airgun match. I used to shoot PB handguns competitively back in the day. I never really did very well (some of these guys are freakin' Wyatt Earp!), but it was fun and there was usually lunch :)

Out of curiosity does your club from follow usarb rules? I ask because electronic triger systems aren't allowed and scores don't count for the score line. Great shooting regardless.

The matches held at Arlington Sportsman Club are conducted under USARB rules and use USARB targets. We also allow the use of any caliber gun but .25 and larger will be basically for fun and will not count toward the USARB scoreline. Participation is fairly small but you can tell from the pictures Crusher posted he was competing against high end guns and shooters. His performance was impressive he deserves the kudo's.

If anyone else wants to come out and play, the matches are held every 2nd Sunday at noon weather permitting and all are welcome. Match fee for non ASC members is $10.You will be shooting at 25 meters at a covered firing line from concrete benches (see pics above). The club is located at 15500 FM 525, Mansfield, TX.
