So the weather has been pretty mild here in western New York ,so I took this opportunity to get to know my new Impact.got her zeroed in at 50yds and got some hold overs stored in my phone and headed over to a friends to find some moving targets .the day started kind of slow not seeing much and then when I did they were moving fast Thur the trees or to far out.those reds move real fast ...but then I followed one till he stopped about 60 yds out at the base of pine tree, lined him up and pulled the trigger and he dropped and did move an inch, the .30 cal is a brute.the greys in the picture where all taken inside 40yds ...but the one thing they have in common is they all dropped with zero twitching or flopping around like when shot with my .22. Pretty good first outing with my new FX ...oh and I had a 70yd starling shot before I left to hunt,it was at the top of a 80ish ft tree gently swaying in the breeze with about 10 of his friends when his day went south
