had a chance to get the gun zeroed and get in the woods this morning, this guy was the first critter to cross my path,so far l really like this pistol-just a little loud ,l have the longer barrel as well and the larger air tube and silencer will be here tomorrow ,it’s very easy to interchange all the pieces

That’s a nice gun, I like shooting with PCP pistols a lot, own a PP700SA myself. They are loud, but silencers are not bulky for these guns so it’s a fair deal.

I use irons, what is that device?

thanks …it’s a small red dot,I have a new scope coming for the long barrel set up the rings are see Thur so I can still use the irons,I was a big pistol powder burner fan back when I was younger, and ever since I have been into PCPs I have been waiting for the right one to come along, this one fit the bill nicely,I purchased all the extras I could find, the moderator works great and it’s Now quiet!!!

I have mainly been hunting with this pistol, have not sat down at the bench with a scope to get some groups but I have a feeling it will yield good results.new scope with some magnification should be here this week. One of the nice features of the mag is it can be loaded while still in the gun like the wildcat which is a feature I really like

Very nice. Looks like a 1911 grip frame, but at a bit more of an angle.

What was the range and ammo?

I bet there is a certain satisfaction in taking small game with a pistol. It’s got to be about twice as difficult. Only pistol I ever took a squirrel with was a Benji 1701P, and that was loud too. (and I had the shoulder stock on it, so it wan’t REALLY a pistol, at that point…)

My friend i could really use your help.  Ive had my Ataman AP16 standard pistol for a few months now, and i love it.  However up here in Canada we have an uptight government that has a choke hold on our sport and hobby of air gunning.  The direct result of such ridiculousness means we must find methods not to draw much attention or any at all.  Unfortunately the Atamans bark is much to loud to keep us low key.  A moderator for this pistol would certainly be the answer, this is where i could use your help.  Could you possibly point me in the right  direction with a link where i could purchase one.  This would help so much, a backyard friendly gun is all im looking for. Cheers

The fact that it looks and feels like a 1911 is what drew me to this gun, very familiar in my hands, the shot was about 20 yds with a 16 gr Diablo field pellet.its a nice little gun

I ordered the silencer from krale-schietsport.nl too, for my PP7000.
I bought the https://www.krale-schietsport.nl/en/silencer-weihrauch-1-2-unf-6234.html and I find it good and of proper quality.

And had to buy the fitting for it too, dunno if AP16 requires one.

No fitting required, the end of the barrel shroud is threaded, just unscrew the insert and screw in the moderator

I love that people are using these pistols for hunting.
Does the standard fit in a regular holster that can be used for other pistols like the 1911?

    Thanks,
    RJ

I'll have to try with a holster some time. Such a great pistol. Definitely one of my favorite guns.
