Ive been wanting to paint the stock on my JKHan bullpup for awhile now as the original finish was pretty bad. I had originally thought about stripping and staining it but have several wood stained stocks already and wanted something a little different. I had also thought of going with a bold color like bright blue, red or green or something. Settled on a forest green and like it so far. Originally painted cheek rest green but painted it flat black instead, I think it looks better imo. Nice easy project and it looks like a brand new gun now.
Paint is Rust-Oleum Camouflage ultra flat, forest green. It’s real grippy, looks like it’ll scratch easy though. The original finish on this stock was really thin and was worn in spots. I scuffed it up with a 3M pad and propped it up with a couple of dowels so I could paint it all at once.
