First all day hunt on ground squirrels with just air.

Wouldn't call it exciting but fun, low shot count is the reason. Southern Or and the fields are just greening up. All but a windless day, mostly cloudy. Went through two magazines on the Crown so a bit better than 40 shots, shooting 18.13 grain at about 870 FPS. First shot of the day after topping off the tank was at 50 yards squirrel laying down just over a little rise placed cross hair where I thought would be a head shot and squeezed the trigger. At the shot he disappeared nd reloaded, nope flip flop a 21/2 then a rear .end drive circle. Several 50-60 yard kills and drum roll, well for me anyway, a116 yard hit, can't say kill but did knock him over before he made a dive for under ground. The laser the chair/gun agree on the hold, but was a WAG on the shot. Nice shooting and talking to the wife without muffs on, plus she's a good spotter.
