Except for the couple of shots where I errantly pressed the extreme light trigger before I was on target, the 50 shot get acquainted session went pretty well. I believe it will only get better as I get familiar with the weapon and the barrel starts to wear in.

I’d say you’re doing pretty well already. I’m surprised the slugs didn’t shoot any better. Those King Heavies sure hit pretty hard. Have fun and congratulation.

Thanks, all for the many nice compliments and gestures. Within a few days, I will test various other pellets at 50 then 100 yards and will post the results.

What velocity are the slugs shooting at?

I had 7 slugs left and just shot them with the same set-up as the King Heavy pellets, so I really don't know. The weight is nearly identical to the King Heavy so I would assume not much difference in velocity.
