Snowing today here in NE Kansas so I had some time to finish up my Tank Range Bag.

Handle is forward at the balance point for the tank.  It is a 60 minute SCBA CF tank.

Material is a heavy weight cottom duck canvas.

Velcro on the sides of tag bag and underside of saddle bags keep them in place on the tank bag.

Tank bag is lined with a full sleeve of 1/2 closed cell foam and 1″ thick on the end.

Considering ways to provide some protection for the valve, but not sure I would use it.  Could be more of a pain to take off and on than it would be worth.

Thanks Crew!! It was a fun project. I have a couple of other tanks that I think I will make some bags for too.

Impressive. Ya know, you can’t show off something like this without others going to want it too. So, any plans to market it?

I guess if there was some interest I could figure out a way to actually produce them.  I was just winging it and designing on the fly for my own tanks.

I’d buy one…  There was a company called “AirGun Tailor” that made ones very similar to this, but he went out of business.

That is very clever and is very impressive workmanship.

Can you tell us about the red regulator (?) on the tank?

That is not a regulator. It is a fill station sold by Air Tanks Plus it is called a Stickman.

That is correct.  It has provisions for cascade filling your gun, which is a nice feature of the unit.

Very nice. This is what I want when I finally pull the trigger on a tank.

I ordered some digital camo material and it came in this last week and I had time yesterday to make another tank/range bag out of the new material.

I like the look a lot.

That is freakin’ awesome. What weight material are you using? Use any lining in conjunction with the material or just the material itself?

Thanks!! Glad you like it.

The camo is 1000 denier, and the cotton duck is 600.  The tank has a 1/2″ think closed cell foam sleeve over it with a 1″ thick foam pad on the bottm end of the tank.  I made the foam sleeve out of some materials I had from another project.

The blue tape was simply to hold the bottom on while I did some meauring and layout work.

Very Nice. I had my eye on the Airgun Tailor offerings then they were gone before I could make a purchase. :(

Looks great! Kinda like U.S. Air Force camo.  I like the Coyote or Olive drab colors the best for this.  NICE!!!

    Thanks guys!

It is to bad “The Air Gun Tailor” guy didn’t make.  I suspect it is a pretty small market.   I thought about some plain colors, but landed on the ACU camo pattern when I orderd additional material to make the bags for my other tanks.  I like it!!

I made one for my 90ci Benjamin tank and for my 45 min SCBA tank.
