Finished Up My Protective Tank & Range Carry Bag.

Snowing today here in NE Kansas so I had some time to finish up my Tank Range Bag.

Handle is forward at the balance point for the tank. It is a 60 minute SCBA CF tank.

Material is a heavy weight cottom duck canvas.

Velcro on the sides of tag bag and underside of saddle bags keep them in place on the tank bag.

Tank bag is lined with a full sleeve of 1/2 closed cell foam and 1" thick on the end.

Considering ways to provide some protection for the valve, but not sure I would use it. Could be more of a pain to take off and on than it would be worth.

"RockBall"That is very clever and is very impressive workmanship.
Can you tell us about the red regulator (?) on the tank?
That is not a regulator. It is a fill station sold by Air Tanks Plus it is called a Stickman.

That is correct. It has provisions for cascade filling your gun, which is a nice feature of the unit.

"Trailryder42"That is freakin' awesome. What weight material are you using? Use any lining in conjunction with the material or just the material itself?
Thanks!! Glad you like it.

The camo is 1000 denier, and the cotton duck is 600. The tank has a 1/2" think closed cell foam sleeve over it with a 1" thick foam pad on the bottm end of the tank. I made the foam sleeve out of some materials I had from another project.

The blue tape was simply to hold the bottom on while I did some meauring and layout work.
