Finish the sentence. I would have more airguns if...

would have more airguns if...the accessories didn't cost as much as the airguns themselves.

LOL EXACTLY!!!!!!!!

I came in pretty cheap with the Marauder pistol in black and a UTG scope for $179. Couldn't believe the money I spent! (Last time I bought a rifle was the 70's.) Add in the overwhelming cost of pellets or whatever and my head was reeling from the foolishness I had succumbed to.

Fast forward, I read forums and watch youtubes. Now I want a scope (PARDNV008lrf) that costs about three times the cost of my gun. And that's just the WANTS.

The buys? Omega 18 cubic foot tank, Walmart Hong Yeng compressor, a million little this and thats. Reminds me of when I got a cat. Cats used to be essentially free. Now the vet wants $800/year for pills and shots. And that's if *nothing ever goes wrong!* When in your life has nothing ever gone wrong?

So anyway I bought a less than $400 gun and am now in for 3 to 4 times that at least ... and am still on entry level stuff. And I'm coveting a scope that will take it up to 7 times the cost of my gun ... plus ... errr... lord help me ... I wouldn't mind another gun ... just a cheap Avenger, that's not so bad, right?

Arggggggg you can spend a lot of money very quickly in this hobby even just setting yourself up. So far I have killed five squirrels. I reckon that's about $350 per squirrel or more and the cost of squirrels is only rising ... dramatically! I'm not sure if I'm killing the squirrels or if the squirrels are killing me!

What’s keeping me from buying more are all the reloading equipment and tools, along with buckets of powder, cases primers and bullits all calling at me asking “ when did you plan on using us?”

not to mention artillery I purchased for fun at the range upon retirement, that I haven’t even shot yet. Got a 110 BA still wearing factory grease since 2012, un fired

I would have more airguns if I had a brick and mortar store where I could actually walk in, pick my poison of the moment, and walk back out with it in my grubby little hands. Otherwise I can usually fight the addiction off for a few months at a time before I have to order a new gun off the internet and wait for several more months for it to get to me.

Those are some expensive squirrels lol.

They are definitely earning their keep! If I paid them what they were worth, they could be on Pimp My Ride and Behind the Music as superstars, in squirrel terms.
