My goal is to escape the Portland area, my high tech job, and move to Coast... my mind is made up, it'll happen. Shooting, ATV's, Elk and Whale watching, Iuv it!!!

I hear you! I was in portland for 3 years while doing school. Was a good time (only because i was able to live close enough to walk anywhere i needed. By the time i left though the place i rented had doubled in cost!) but i was ready to go from the city when i did.
We're down here in the Florence area now, it's been real good to us so far. This year especially has been just one great day after another.

That sounds like a blast! I live in Eastern WA and was also a beautiful sunny day. However cold at 22* in the morning lol.
Your close to the Oregon dunes?! Lucky dog! Went there last year and absolutely loved it. Such a beautiful place where you can go for miles and wasn't busy when we went.

Always an awesome day shooting with your son! My son comes home this weekend from college and we will do some shooting as well over the Holiday. I sure miss thoughs days.

Kids are everything! Love the pictures. Brings back memories of times when my kids were that size. When they were little here on the farm they always had a BB or pellet gun. They shot a lot. It was a job just keeping them in pellets and BB's. Sparrows and starlings were favorite targets, but I've seen them spend an afternoon shooting grasshoppers. Still have a model 25 Daisy and a FWB-124 they shot. Their other guns have disapeared with time. Really enjoy them, because next thing you know they will be grown, married and gone. sylvan
