Finding the right pellet.

I was pretty excited to get my straight shooters sampler in the mail yesterday and was able to start testing pellets today. First test was only at 7 yards but I'm going to bring it out to 17 (full length of my back yard) to test today's top pellets tomorrow. Shooting a crosman fury 2 (.177) with a UTG 3-9x32 ao scope at 9x magnification. Really looking forward to seeing which pellet takes it at slightly longer range tomorrow.

JSB dont work well for you? Maybe you should try a different weight pellet.

I tried the JSB express(7.87g), exact (8.44g), and exact heavy (10.34). Out of those the exact heavy did the best but still not as good as the Beeman Kodiak (10.65g)

Shot the top 4 at 17 yards and the Beeman Kodiaks ended up shooting the best, not exactly pinpoint accuracy but better than the rest. I think I just still need to practice more to get them dead on. Time to order a tin of Kodiaks. Was having a good time testing the last set of pellets and I knocked my damn pellet sampler off the bench I was sitting on. It landed upright but most of the pellets got mixed up or ended up on the groud. Oh well, good thing I was just about done tested.
