So how are you using Google Earth? Looking specifically for Public land or just large areas that look un-inhabited? How do you if it's private property or not?
In southern California most private property is marked and or fenced off. Un-inhabited areas are a pretty safe bet and I try to speak to locals of the area to get a feel of a place.
Or you could use OnX maps. Gives you public land boundaries, private land boundaries and owners name. All kinds of layers to help you find new places to hunt.
Ok, was thinking that I was missing something re a setting on Google Earth or something. I’m in Alabama....loads of woodlands, large blocks, but most are private or Corporate holdings. Thanks for the new information Droptine!
