Darn
I know many will chuckle at this and maybe laugh.
I finally got my Marauder First Gen. to shoot in 1/2 target (close enough for me) at 40 yards.
I know many just chuckle at this... but I have been trying to get this gun
to do this for some time now.... I am finally getting good enough...

Good job man!. I have been doing the same with my .22 cricket carbine and finally nailed some groupings; I posted my shots last week. You want to "whoop and hollar" and when you show your family they say," uhh sure that's real nice………. I think".
keep posting them here where you can get a real pat on the back! Nice shooting!

Whats your secret? I have one of those too. Mines a .22 I'd be lucky to get that tight a group. Can you do it again?

Hello all.... Yes it was great and felt so damn good ... and I felt real excited...
The wife looked at me like I was some moron...
I kept shooting but I would get to that 5th shot and it would be a hair off just outside the 1/2 inch mark... just my luck ....

I have no secret...30cal... I practice and practice and keep changing things..I think my new scope put on two nights ago helped a lot.
I know I can do it again, I will find out tomorrow morning when the wind is low. but who knows... I am not the worlds greatest shot... and maybe I could be qualified for the worlds worse.

I know this sounds stupid but I am starting to size and weigh my pellets next week with hopes of finding the correct pellet...

Like I said... the big boys can do this and I am sure they smirk... but this is ground breaking for me..
I was always led to believe a Marauder would not do this well...

NM shooter... I always thought a cricket can do this right out of the box... I have been watching a .177 cricket on wild west airguns....Just don.t know what gun to get...yet...

Good job Billy! I haven't got to 40 yards yet but I've done 20 yards with my Discovery. Those targets look nice with the sizes in inches on them I've never seen them like that it's a good idea though. I don't think sizing and weighing pellet's is stupid, I would do the same thing if i had the stuff for it. Good luck and Shoot straight!

The gun shoots straight, the problem was the guy holding the gun! LOL.
Took me awhile to get the feel of shooting a rifle. Been shooting a scatter gun all my life. Did this with my son's .22 Marauder 2 weeks ago at 40 yards. It is fun to know you can shoot these guns with accuracy! I shoot better with the cricket carbine but the Marauder is a dam good shooting gun as well! My son was hitting pop cans and prairie dog targets consistently at 60-75 yards. I try to shoot both guns everytime I shoot.
Keep posting thoughs groups! We enjoy looking at them!

Hey leo
I make and print all my own targets... I got tons of designs....
I am more than willing to post images so that you can print your own out...

I have a discovery that is one great gun... I love the thing....
It shoots well at 30 yards and is a great squirrel killer...
It was my first PCP
I put a silencer on it and you must replace trigger to get better shots... at least mine I had to...

I was using my Marauder .177 Gen1
But I own all three .. 22 and 25.... gen2 wood and synth. Still working on 40 yards for those two..... 22 is driving me nuts..
Plus the pistol...

I may be doing this half assed..
but I shoot for the 1/2 center.... always..
I do not consider groups good if out side the mark..

Is this wrong to do.... seems everyone considers groupings whether in the zone or not

Goups are groups. Of course you always aim for the same exact point. Shooting groups is for testing the gun and/or pellets. Target shooting you want to hit the bullseye. They are two different things.

Here you go. I kinda think it goes well with the cabinets. My wife said it couldn't stay there. LOL. I think it's a cool looking gun. Just my opinion.

That is the gun I am looking at for 1400 with bonus scope.... but in .177 (my favorite cal.
I really like the gun... but I do not know much about them...
I am looking only for a rifle that will do 50 yards half inch ... target only (I don't like doing past 30 yards hunting)

Should I pull the trigger and get this deal....

I have limited my use of 177 cal pellets to distances under 35 yards. Too much wind drift for my capability at 50 yards and beyond. At longer distances I use either 22 or 25 cal. airguns.

NMshooter if I had an air gun that nice looking it would stay right where it is. I love traditional walnut like Daystate but that is a very nice looking and very functional stock. I wish Crosman would do something like that for the Marauder.
