This more of a record for me to come back and check my shot string if I ever have a problem. Sorry, I'm old school with pencil and paper recording the velocities.
Here's my work station.
And my target paper at only 28 yds. Too lazy to go out and put up new target. The target has been out there on the bullet trap for over a week and had already been shot a little. I'm surprised it didn't tear more than it did? It was windy and I wasn't taking my time and was shooting a 9 shot magazine per kz.
I filled to 220 bar for the first session with the JSB 44.75 gr and decided to just fill to 200 bar for the next 3 sessions. Had a 3 errors and a crazy high velocity that I kicked out on the first session. Kicked out the high and low shot and the 3 errors for a total of 31 shots to avg. for a velocity of 879 fps and 76.8 fpe
Then I tried the 50.15 gr JSB's . Kicked out the 26th and 27th shot since it was coming off the regulator. Had an avg of 848 fps at 80 fpe for 25 shots.
Then a session with the Hatsan Vortex pellets just for giggles. 24 shots avg 877.8 fps at 76.58 fpe
Decided to give one more go with the 44.75 gr JSB's with a 200 bar fill shot down to roughly 149 bar. 882.87 fps at 77.47 fpe for 24 shots
So after all that I'm gonna call it 879 fps avg with 77 fpe for the 44.75 gr pellets and getting 80 fpe with the 50 grainers.
Might come back and edit in some more info later. Gotta make up my mind if I want to run the FX 500 across the chrony now or wait another day?
