Got it on video! FX Royale 500 - 33 shot 51 yard group!!

Hi everyone!! I posted these pics a couple of weeks ago about a 31 consecutive shot group that I had with the FX Royale 500 at 50 yards that all fit under a dime. I promised that I would go out and get the equipment to get it on film so you could see it for yourselves so here it is!!

First, let me apologize for the absolute and complete lack of video editing. I used to use Windows movie maker but I can't get it to work on my new laptop with windows 10. I googled "free video editing software" and came up with something called "VSDC free video" and I have to tell you, the learning curve on it is STEEP!! I couldn't even trim the clips down to get out the junk you don't need to see. :)

I'm considering this a rough draft of the video that I just wanted to get up for everyone to see and I'll work on editing it more later after I learn the software better.

Here are the pics I posted, the group on the right is 31 shots. The group on the left is 11 shots, a full mag shot immediately after the one on the right. 




Here is the video!! The actual group is not "quite" as tight as the one in the pic but I hope you like it anyway!

That's no fair, your inside! Depending on where you live your cheating the mosquitoes or not having to deal with shivering fingers! I cry foul! lol. I showed my wife, hey this guy gets to shoot in the house why can't I? (due to the graphic nature of the response (my wifes) I have self edited.)

Anyway Great shooting and I am looking forward to more videos! Enjoy that GUN!

Lol thanks Fungun. I'd love to hear the unedited response from your wife! Haha. Shooting in the house started out of necessity in the winter. Now I love it and prefer it for the reason you listed, NO BUGS! Also it's nice to have a dedicated shooting room with all my gear together. I don't have to lug my tank, pellets, around, etc.

HAHA Yes!! I was hoping someone was going to say that! I'd love to see how many I can get in one hole like that before I get a flier. I stopped at 33 because that was 3 full mags and I wanted to make sure that when I stopped shooting that I'd have a nice clean target to show to everyone. Next time I do this I won't stop shooting until the group falls apart and we'll count and see how high we can get up to! Can't wait to see the footage TKA!

Plinker, you're right, I'll probably never sell this gun. Interestingly, the first Royale I had shot this well and I didn't realize the mistake of selling it until after it was gone and I thought "oh no, what have I done?" Fortunately this one shoots just as well if not better and I'll be hanging onto it! Thanks for watching the video!

"TrapdorSpydr"Nice shooting cliff. My 500 Royale was my best grouping gun. It almost shot itself and I was just there to look through the scope at the results. 

I have not put enough bench time in to the Vulcan Tactic yet to compare.

Trapdor, I'm super interested in the Vulcan and currently have a pretty big credit with AOA that's just begging to go towards something haha. I'd love to hear any and all feedback that you can share about the Vulcan, especially in regards to how it compares to the FX. I've been through quite a few guns over the last few years and the FX Royale platform has me as a customer for life. Fortunately I can step out on her occasionally and not get the silent treatment later lol. If you get the time I'd love to see you post up a mini review / comparison of the two. I think I might start making more video's comparing the guns to each other. I like comparison reviews side by side more than just a straight up single product review. Anyway, Thanks for watching, I'm looking forward to hearing about the Vulcan!

"Longbrownbox"I also have an FX 500 and I think they are bullet-proof! I like it so much I bought a second one that is regulated. I only shoot the JSB Jumbo Hravy thru it. Love them both!

Longbrownbox, that's speaking with your wallet, buying two of the same gun! I've bought two Royales, but never at the same time haha. Mine shoots the heavies pretty well also, but I need to do some more experimenting to be able to say they're as accurate as the 25g. Thanks for watching the video!
