Finally got a Chrono... WC MK2 .22 results

Got me a chrono finally. Prochrono digital with the Bluetooth gizmo. Setup this morning at 0715hrs with zero wind at 50 yards and Air Arms 16gr(unsorted), using ST-X barrel, 230bar. Sorry about the first 2 shots. They were 894 and 904 but they were on page two of the pdf and I don't know how to convert to a text readout or something I can post. I just screen snipped page 1 of the pdf.

Here's my target from 50yd, I think I was improving as I went along. First time shooting 8 shot groups and using the new bipod. I went up 2 clicks before the last two on the bottom row.

I'm pretty chuffed with the gun so far other than the fill probe (prefer the male foster on the regal) and blowing through pellets so fast, lol. The deviation of 6 seems decent, considering the gun has the fx regulator, but what do I know, I'm still new to this stuff. Anyone see any potential problems with the string or looks ok? I should add the very first shot was 856fps which had me worried with 16gr but then I remembered reading something about the 1st shot after the gun has been sitting so I deleted that one after finishing the 48 shot string. Planning to try some JSB 18.1gr next. Also going to do some strings on the Regal, aye... good times.

edit: just wanted to add, those stickies on my target are from yesterday when I was sighting in the vortex with the no limit rings. I just added the bigger bullseye over the small ones and put pasties on the holes in white.

Hi DHart, very nice looking rig for sure! I've been working with a Wildcat .22 Mk1 for a while now, (have two .22 and a .25) just looking over your string and groups, looks good out of the box! I've not shot any 16gr's but the 18's are great for me 867fps SD 3. Both my WC's first shot are low too, after that bug holes all day dosn't bother me 'cause I know its there. Yes been blowin' through a lot of pellets myself, these Wildcat .22 are FUN TO SHOOT!!! Be sure to post your 18gr string. Safe shooting!

Great looking rifle! Wildcat II .22 or .25 is a gun I’d love to have... possibly my next PCP.

Thanks, I'll take that as high praise considering it's coming from a member of the wolf pack. 😉

Just shot these around noon. Wind was giving me fits but mainly shot for the string data, plus wanted to try the 5.52 head since I had bad luck with the 18.13gr in 5.53 head.

My WC MKII in .22 cal did about the same out of the box shooting 18.1 grains. Wait till it breaks in you will get another 20-25 FPS out of her. The Wildcat is an awesome AG. After a fill or it's been sitting awhile dry fire it once to get rid of the wild first shot.

Good info mate, thanks.
