Finally! A gun that shoots the Hades .22

I fed my new to me Daystate Airwolf some .22 Hades this morning. 25yds was 1/4”, 50 was 1/2”. These were my best groups, but I was totally happy with that. I have tried this pellet in multiple guns with no acceptable accuracy outside 25yds. This is promising. The groups opened up when I put it on HP. Setting 2 shot them great. Didn’t have the Chronograph out today.

My red wolf 35fpe shoots them extremely well too.

Its at 915fps on medium and 970fps on high. Both laser like.

That airwolf is 40fpe on high so not surprising accuracy not so hot on high. Power 2 if I remember right is very similar the RW's medium so also likely to be just over 900

I love the look of the RW. Always wanted one, just too far out of my price range. I do love how my Airwolf shoots though. Especially since I know I can deliver those nasty little Hades at pin point accuracy to my little ground squirrel friends.

Honestly my airwolf shot just as well as my red wolf does. Better with the magazine.

Other than looks and weight, the differences are negligible. You are not really missing out on anything

They shoot well in my Taipan Veteran shorty as well. When they hit a squirrel the expires quickly!

From what I have read in different threads the Hades keep up with the JSB 16gr up to 50 yards in accuracy, but then they start to spread out. It's a devastating round 50 yards and closer.

I would like to see a comparison between jsb 15.89gr round nose and the 15.89gr hades, I'm going out this morning to do that at 50yards but the winds don't look like they are going to be very good so we will see what happens. ;~)

I really wanted to see how they would do at 100 today. I’m afraid with the heavy winds, I wouldn’t even be able to hit the target.

They shoot great out of my Wolverine R at 890ftps but they do tend to open up after 60 yards so I don't use them past 50 yards for hunting. Out to 50 yards you can get a five shot group under a 5pence (USA speak = dime) piece if you do your part. All things considered a fantastic pellet that really seems to hit hard.

Shot the JSB Hades from the Airwolf at 90yds today. Pretty happy with the groups. Perfect conditions, best 5 shot group was 1.5”, first 3 within 1”. These were done without a magazine. Feeling pretty confident with this guns ability to be my go to ground squirrel gun this coming spring. I need to get some slugs and JSB 18s to see what they can do. I hear there is a good NSA slug that shoots well from this gun.
