Filling an airgun

Hi
I was wondering if you guys had any experience filling a 230 bar gun to 250 bar? I am trying to lower the velocity of My Air Ranger and Daystate said try filling gun to higher a pressure would create more consistency.

Lastly, I was filling my Marauder the other day when something horrible happened. When the gun was full I tried bleeding the whose but the gun was being emptied.
How do I prevent that?

When you open the valve to bleed after filling, open it fast. Try not to open it slowly.

Yes there is a check valve in the end cap behind the fill port. It may stick if you open it to slowly.

As far as the Daystate? I would try what they said. The guns can handle the increased pressure if that's what you are worried about.

I had the same problem with my M-Rod while filling it with my tank. Once it happened to me the first time it was like the valve was stuck open. I hooked up my hand pump to it (so I wouldn't waste my tank air) and pumped it to about 1000 then bled the line and everything worked properly. Then hooked my tank to it and filled thereafter and didn't have any problems.
