Filling air tank

Dizzums is correct. Lots of shops that fill tanks will fill, allow to cool, then complete filling.

Basic laws of thermodynamics - when you compress air it creates heat, when you release that air, things get cold. Last time I emptied a tank by just opening the valve, it had frost on the valve by the time the tank was empty. 

Fill the tank "slowly".

Fast fills create heat. Cooling heat creates moisture. Moisture in air guns is BAD !

MOST use a GOOD quality drier to help prevent this moisture condensation. Give this guy a call, he'll fill you in an all of the nasty possibility's.

Pressurizing air in tank is called adiabatic heating, it's normal. Also normal to see gauge drop a bit after it cools.

I’m fairly new to the pcp world, I have an air compressor and a Omega 75 cf tank. Just got a good bag for my tank and filled it in the bag. I noticed the tank was warm when it was full. Should I at least keep the bag open when filling or is warm normal?

Can’t accurately recommend if you should or shouldn’t keep the bag open. Considering what’s been stated in previous posts it’s probably better to keep it open as opposed to filling your tank while in a closed bag at room temperature. It may be best to remove it from the bag completely so that it can cool faster after filling.
