Fill a fx impact with 300bars?

Also, the amount of shots gained from 250 to 300 bar is not linear. So although it would appear that shooting from 300 down to say 150, compared to shooting from 250 down to 150 would be 50% more, its just not true. It obviously has to do with the physics of compressed gasses at very high pressures. One past approx. 250 bar, the amount of energy per additional bar of compression decreases due to the air molecules closeness to each other (in layman's terms). You may only get 20% more shots, plus stress your system more than is necessary.

Additionally, duro 70 or 75 o-rings are really only capable of approx. 250 bar for extended periods without extruding. This is why 90 duro o-rings and gaskets are used in systems (like SCBA tank valve o-rings) where the pressure can be at 310 bar for extended periods of time... So the o-rings in the bottle fitting, and all the O-rings and internal parts that see bottle pressure on the high side of the regulator are suspect.

Bottom line: The juice isn't worth the squeeze...

Now that is an ANSWER. It wasn't my question but I have been interested as well.
