I had about fifteen minutes before it got dark tonight thought I would drag the old suit case target out at 48 yards,
I will see if I can post the photos, Mutant shorty 48 yards, JSB 16 gr , Atlas bipod and a pillow and a old coffee table to shot from.

12 shot group, as fast as I could cock the gun at 48 yards, Dime size group.
dime size dots , orange ones are to big, I am not a target shooter these were just some fast ones in to check the noise of the LDC on the 22 Mutant shorty,

Darn I think I almost done it right,

"CampFussell"Dag gone it Mike. I wish you would quit tempting me like this ;-)
Do you prefer the Shorty over the Satndard?
decisions decisions ;-)

I've got 3 Cricket carbines in 3 diff calibers.
I don't need two Mutants? or do I????? LOL

All kidding aside. I do enjoy your happiness with your Mutant!

Jimmy
I got a Shorty because I already had a 25 Cricket bullpup and I don't like having two guns that do the same thing. The Shorty genuinely brings something else to the table. It's the perfect backpack gun for me and I've been very surprised by how accurate this (tiny) little thing is.

At the distances I shoot (50-60 yards), I don't notice much difference in accuracy between the Shorty and longer barrel air rifles. It's one of the most accurate I own. I really like it.

It doesn't replace my Cricket but it's hard not to reach for the Shorty every time. It's just so comfortable to use with it being so short and light.

I think you do need two mutants because I am interested in seeing an accuracy comparison with the Standard to satisfy my curiosity. My wife won't get mad if it's you that buys the second one...

It will be my first Bullpup if i do in fact get one. So, maybe should go with the Shorty? Not in it for the power anyway.
I've made some promises to let some folks borrow my two loaners in the next two or three months. My Disco and my Mrod. Figured I might better sell those before adding any more to the collection?
But then I would have a hard time loaning out my Crickets or the Mutant if I was to get one????
Hmmmm.......I do love being an enabler to sway my buddies over to the Dark Side. What to do...what to do!!!!! LOL

I'll probably call Charlie Frear of Georgia Airguns if I get an itch I can't scratch? Or......Would be the deal of the year, if I could catch Ernest Rowe selling his? LOL

Keep tempting me brother. Love your posts!

Jimmy
