First thing check out the barrel and crown real good. If they are good then I would send it to Paul Watts. He is the best rebuilder of the FWB 300's. With bluing that nice it is worth the investment. You would probably bugger it up trying it yourself. If you don't plan on shooting 10 meter competition he can jump the velocity up some for you. He can also check the inside of the barrel out. The wood is easy to refinish and lots of fun.

Austin870 I’d be all over Paul like white on rice but I live in Canada. Guns and Canadian borders don’t mix unfortunately. I’m going to sniff around for the best up here to work on it if possible. Thanks Crow

300's aren't hard to rebuild. No spring compressor or special tools needed, just a little attention to details.

This guy wasn’t your weekly garbage collector, or dumped in a green bin. He worked for disposal bins for residential cleanup. It’s amazing what people throw out. I know as a fact because 35 yrs ago I was a collector of garbage. 35 yrs ago I sold a piece of garbage for example for $800. did nothing to it , garbage (walnut side board). What’s that in today’s dollar? Crow

DualMagMike if any springer comes my way it’s mine. Problem is their not near as plentiful in Canada. I don’t hunt on internet yet.
