I was interested in buying his wildcat package which he had posted in the classifieds section. He had no pictures and no description of the wildcat in the thread. Here it is. All he said via text to me was that it was hydrodipped and sent me 2 pictures at a distance away. I paid him via paypal goods and services.

    https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/wts-fx-wildcat-25-5/

When I received the wildcat, I found that the gun was heavily modified with the shroud being held by a custom/foreign end cap. Three holes were drilled into it, which he didn't have anything to say about. The grub screw that would normally hold the shroud onto the barrel was loose so the shroud would spin freely. The shroud exit hole for the pellet was widened and marketed with red marker. These mods were impossible to tell from far away pictures that he sent me and he did not mention any of this in his text. I have pictures of this on the day I received the gun and expressed my concerns with this man. He replied to me that that gun was 100% stock and was how he received it from AoA and did tell me to call AoA to confirm. I told him I would get in contact with someone who could verify and said I wanted a refund. He refused the refund and I threatened to escalate this to a claim if he did not refund me. Another point was that I did not receive the splatter burst target that was in the description of his post. He then proceeds to block me so I couldn't call him. I then move to escalate this purchase to a claim. Paypal required me to find someone to appraise this wildcat to prove that it was indeed not stock. I get into contact with donnyfl to inquire about my suspicions. He says the three holes drilled into the shroud are not stock and I post my evidence with his statement to paypal. Somehow, I lose the claim due to the fact that this is a Airgun and paypal does not have protection against "firearms". Therefore they did not even look at my claim information. I call them back and the representative helps me appeal the claim and said he would add that this should be protected under buyers protection that he knows what a Airgun is(the other representatives did know know what it is). However, fast forward 2 days from then and i lose my appeal for the same reason. Currently, I am in the process in calling paypal again on why my appeal failed.

During the time of losing the claim and appealing, I get donnyfl to look at the shroud once more in the very possibility that I lose the claim and am forced to get a adapter to quiet it. when Donny Du takes a closer look at more pictures I sent him he told me that this wildcat mk 1 was, "a Frankenstein Gun." There was no stock wildcat adapter that would allow fitment of his moderators.

I was going to wait for all the paypal issues to settle(and double check if there were no options) before bringing this topic to agn. However, I am forced to bring my side of the story due to fast Eddie's wild accusation/post.

Summary is Fasteddie sold me a gun that even donnyfl said is a "Frankenstein Gun" without letting me know that it had been modified mechanically. Fast Eddie refuses to give me a refund and that paypal refuses to aid in this dispute due to it being classified as a firearm. I will be posting this warning to others(without the story) about paypal policys. I recommend people to no longer use goods and services unless being ready to argue that this is not a firearm. I will be calling paypal back to see if there are any options and recommend you not do any deals with this man.

I don't actually think fasteddie meant to not hide this information but the fact that he won't own up to the fact that he sold me a modified gun without telling me and is openly calling me a scammer is infuriating. Or maybe he just didn't know his wildcat was not stock or damaged. Anyways I am stuck with this wildcat and the other items he sent me and I will be posting in the classified with actual up close pictures of the gun and accurate description if I decide to sell.

Far away pictures were the ones he sent me. I do not mind providong any information in regards to this or anything, including emails, text messages.

So your accusing AoA of selling Frankenstein guns???  Of course you cant back that up because you never contacted them with pics of the shroud like I told you too 5 times. That's why you lost the claim and the appeal.  Your a scammer!! Haha

I don't know what aoa sells. I've had bad experiences with them so I didn't contact them. I believed donnyfls appraisal was sufficient. However, I would gladly let you get a appraisal from any other airgun selling distributor such as Utah airguns. I didn't text about aoa after you mentioned aoa because at that point you were refusing refunds, threatening to sue me, and cursing me.

Edit: heck now that I think about it sure I'll send it to aoa for appraisal as long as you refund me if they say it's been modified or not stock.

You can tell based on my pictures that this wildcat is not stock. Did you receive the gun with three holes in the shroud in my pictures or did you drill these holes yourself? Eddie, you seemed like a swell guy on the phone. Why did you not answer any of my calls after the gun arrived? Why are you so convinced I was Scamming you?

Any sane/normal person who is not satisfied with their purchase would seek a refund. Since you would not let me get a refund, I asked paypal to help me? How have I in any way try to scam you?

He made the mistake of purchasing an airgun that's too loud. His fault, not mine. Buy a silencer

Your so confident that it was too loud because it was a custom shroud, but your 100 percent wrong. Then you told PayPal the scope turret was broke, but in your text to me you said it was mushy , not broken. You lied to try and get a refund for your mistake.  You tried to scam me and PayPal,  but you lost both battles.

Fukochan,  would you keep us posted with respect to your Paypal claim?  If Paypal deems airguns to be firearms and won't honor buyer protection,  then it doesn't make sense to pay the 3 1/2% fee to purchase an airgun (which I have done quite of few times.)   Thanks.

Not sure what you showed or told Donny about the gun, but the end cap you have looks EXACTLY like the one on my WC .177. The "end piece" is threaded 1/2-20 where it attaches to the barrel. The camo tapped piece on the other end looks exactly like the FX modular LDC that is on my gun. The shroud end piece should unscrew from that camo piece. Mine does and I'm pretty sure it is also stock and not modified.

Man, that sucks, Fukochan! I can vouch for Fukochan, he's a stand-up guy. I have had dealings with him in the classifieds and he is solid. He even tacked-on (unsolicited) extra $ to my PayPal to cover fees! He's a thoughtful guy and I would have absolutely no qualms about doing business with him again.

IMO, you have performed adequate due diligence, but you came up against PayPal's policy of not covering airguns. This is why I never buy airguns through PayPal. And no one has anything to worry about with me when buying AGs through PayPal, because my policy is to simply refund the money if asked.

The messed-up thing about the package deal in issue is that $1,800 for what FastEddie was selling, even with the alleged defects, sounds fair. The issue is in the alleged misrepresention. If there were defects, FastEddie had a duty to disclose them. I have to be on Fukochan's side on this one.

This is what makes DonnyFL a true craftsman. His product line is designed to adapt to the host product without modifying it in any way. His operations and business paradigm is pristine, especially customer service. He has really carved out a solid niche for himself. His designs, materials, and workmanship are top-notch. I am confident that a court would deem him an expert witness.

Nothing against fokochan ( maybe you can help explain tho?).

    Marcella AKA Animalhitkid ,

Why the name change?  You keep making odd posts.

"new here"  was one but your only new in screen name right?

I'm sure you have done business with fokochan ( well no I am not ) but not off the ads here as you've not been a member that long.   Always nice to use a real name on a refference, or it isnt.

Now all your new name posts are cheerful happy & helpful   ………..   " start a class action lawsuit"   WAAAAAA ?

And now you are kind enough to use one of your names to try to stick up for (? that's what your doing right?)  a deal you had nothing to do with.

Would I personally but from you, no.  Sell to you, no. ( and hey that doesnt effect anything so no worries) but now you have close personal friends & refferences on this forum. But for some reason it looks like you are pretending to be someone other than yourself, and by attaching your name to them,  welp, I'd sure have to ask them about that before engaging in business.

In did send you a PM, drop me a note  and set me straight eh?

If Donny has actually seen the shroud on the gun in question, and he knows what the original FX WC shroud looks like, I SERIOUSLY doubt he would go into a court of law and testify that the shroud Fukochan posted was "custom" and not made by FX, with the FX modular LDC attached.

Why am I so confident? Well here is a pic of my WC shroud with FX modular LDC

Look familiar? (other then the size of back vent – mine is a .177) Look at the o-ring grooves and the raised portioned, real similar don't ya think?

Problem was that Fukochan could not get the AOA thread sealer to break free so that he could separate the FX modular from the original shroud. (I even have a PM from him saying so)
