Eye protection"""

Stupid and never repeated. i shot a hard plastic lizard nailed to a tree. the wife at my side for a 20 second question. it happened .not good .shes. not a big fan .of my hobby .i mostly shoot in my yard at 29 and 44yards in spinners and paper attached to cardboard with a old weaved burlap welcome matt behind that is a kidisinfant baby matress with 2 sheets of 3.4 inch plywood behind all of it then at another 20 ft down range extre plywood i had so i propped it up the matress almost completely eliminates the pellet thud and a radio gping

If you are shooting powder burners at anything less than 500 hardness steel you will have a wake up call sooner or later. This applies to anything you shoot. Mild steel, bowling pins, golf balls, railroad ties I have had them or seen them all spit rounds into people. Pellets usually don't come back with steel but it can occur. I wear Z87 class safety shades whenever shooting any hard targets. 2.50 a pair is cheap insurance for being able to shoot. Be safe folks and copper plated BBs are the worst of all, too slow to splat and hard enough to rebound. Ralph's mom was right, you will shoot your eye out.

Thanks guys for the replies I think most of us have done some things wiwith powderopowderopowde burners or pellet rifles and we say yeah I'm not going to do that again I'm right-handed batting and throwing but write left-handed and shoot left-handed because of a bad right eye amblyopia so if that's not enough to make me wear the glasses that I'm Just a Fool if anything happened to my left eye it would be no more shooting whatsoever so that being said I'm going to put glasses everywhere and try to wear them as much as I can and always always wear them when I'm shooting everyone be safe have a great fall hynzie

Great recommendation. Again if you have a Grainger nearby it is usually overnight shipping from a local warehouse if not in stock at the store and shipping costs you nothing.

If I am looking for something industrial that McMaster carries I look at grainger as well.
