I've been tuned in, but no information and only month away? Any news on this? Thanks,

Mike

Question: "It should be similar to the matches AOA has already hosted, with whatever improvements seem reasonable". Curious about these "improvements". We've worked very hard to get the rules and matches as fair as possible for all at the monthly EFT in AZ.

Not sure since it’s so last minute. Hard to make plans. I know the TX guys aren’t coming. Maybe the AZ and OR members (OR guys are five hours away in northern OR). I had planned on it but that was a month and a half ago and I’ve been waiting until yesterday for the events and rules. Still don’t know where 40 FPE came from and why there are even two classes in EXTREME BR and FT...? 40 FPE isn’t really Extreme now is it? ;) So we might have between two and five depending if guys can get there short notice or not and find an AirBnB to stay. I won’t know for me until about a week prior. :( In any case it looks like it’ll be a fun time for those attending and a chance to pick up a couple bucks.

Sounds like a great event Wayne! Jim and I are for sure coming. I have my gun about set up, and plan use it for both events, Ill be shooting .22 cal, and feel the 60fpe max spec is fine, even though my rifle is well under 50fpe. Surprised to see Im getting well over 50 good shots per fill on this new gun!

Im still in the process of deciding where to zero and whether to hold over like i normally do, or click for some and hold over for other distances. My scope uses 0.05mil clicks and a milli-radian reticle and I’m not familiar with this.

Should be fun though,

LD

Larry, I'm so glad you and Jim Z can make it!

Sounds like your new build is coming out great. Figuring out the clicks or holdover for 25 to 100 yards is going to be challenging... I hope to get some time for that before the match:)

I'm still working hard every day to get the range ready. We started from bare ground.. Had to put up a back stop wall, build all the shooting decks with roofs, build all the swinging targets & pellet traps, and the bench rest targets/pellet traps.. oh yeah.. The wailing wall & picnic table area has to be completed too.. We are right next to the creek, so we have to collect all the lead fragments if we want to shoot here.

It's a big project, but I think we'll get done on time. I've got some helpers joining in next week, so that should let us get done sooner and then I can work on my own equipment:) It should be really nice to shoot here when we get done.

PS bring stuff to trade, we'll have some trading tables set up too.
