Extreme Bench Rest Competition Lines Up Extreme Prize Pot
Daystate/Brocock/MTC Optics is proud to be one of the big-name sponsors supporting the 2018 Extreme Bench Rest competition, put on in the host state of US retail giant Airguns of Arizona (AoA) – and this year’s total prize handout is set to smash all records!
Taking place on 11-14 October and now in its seventh year, the annual four-day target shooting event has grown in stature to become a magnet for the world’s accuracy aficionados. Where only the finest precision airgun equipment can cut it, competitors take on the toughest paper target challenges an airgunner can ever face. Besides shoulder-to-shoulder action at extreme distances – 75 and 100 yards – for the main event, AoA is also running a plethora of side shows. The program includes a Field Target course on which you can even use .30 calibre, through a silhouette speed shoot to a pistol competition.
The events and now-legendary raffle offer up a veritable selection of prizes – rifles, scopes and other accessories – donated by Daystate and other well-known airgun names. Daystate are really turning up the heat this year to support its shooters and have added extra incentives to support its entrants into the matches, for example the top shooter in the One Gun Challenge will win a Daystate Red Wolf rifle and the top three Daystate or Brocock shooters in the principle 75 yard Extreme Benchrest will also get $2,500, $1,500 and $1,000 cash bonus!
The maximum capacity of 160 keen shooters will all be vying to get their hands on the prizes, with the entrants’ list made up of past winners and famous airgun crack shots.
